🔹 Introduction
Belt promotion tests in Taekwondo measure a student’s progress in technique, discipline, physical ability, and knowledge.
As per World Taekwondo (WT) and India Taekwondo (IT) standards, students must demonstrate skills in:

Fist Strikes & Hand Techniques (Jireugi, Chigi, Chireugi)

Thrusts (Tzireugi)

Kicks (Chagi)

Breaking (Kyukpa) – for higher belts

Poomsae (Forms) – according to belt level

Sparring (Kyorugi) – for intermediate and advanced belts

Theory & Etiquette – knowledge of Taekwondo terms, discipline, and respect
🔹 Promotion Test Requirements by Belt
White Belt (10th Geup) → Yellow Stripe (9th Geup)
